Who are we?
We are a group of fun-loving people who like to garden and create floral arrangements. We welcome all horticulturalists-at-heart to come to our meetings and to get to know us. Most of our members live in and around Point Loma, but please feel free to join us from farther away.
 
What do we do?
We meet to discuss topics of interest to hobbyist and professional gardeners. Activities include speakers, plant sales and sharing, craft-making, field trips, and social gatherings. Each meeting is preceded by a potluck brunch. General meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month September through June in Point Loma at:

    2014 Annual Holiday Tea & Bazaar

    On Wednesday, December 10, from 10 AM until Noon, join the Point Loma Garden Club as we once again present our annual Holiday Tea & Bazaar which is open to the public. Special holiday decorations, crafts and home-made delectables - all lovingly created by Point Loma Garden Club members - will be for sale. Come find the perfect table centerpieces, wreaths and swags for your home as well as special gifts for hostesses, friends & family.     Flower Show in April 2015

    We are proud to announce a Standard Flower Show, The Gardens of Balboa Park, will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015. The show is free and open to the public. The competition is open to any amateur gardener or designer. There is no fee to enter.

    The 2015 Plant Sale

    The plant sale will take place at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 3598 Talbot Street (east of Canon Street) in Point Loma on Saturday, April 11, from 10 AM to 4 PM. It will be held in conjunction with the Standard Flower Show announced above.

    Come join us and take home heirloom tomatoes, unusual vegetables and herbs, beautiful patio container plants and specimen, water wise and native plants.

    Plan to visit La Chic Boutique for new and gently used items.

    Have your gardening questions answered by Master Gardeners.

    Proceeds provide, in part, ongoing philanthropic support for local college scholarships and community organizations. Thank you for your continued patronage and support!

    Wine In The Garden

    Several times a year, different members open their garden for an afternoon gathering. Members are encouraged to invite their friends and neighbors so they can become familiar with the club. Non-members are also invited to attend. Please contact the Membership Chair for details on the next gathering.

 Membership dues are $40 per year. These fees help us with our activities and membership costs, including newsletter mailings. Members also enjoy discounts at favored local nurseries.
