Club Activities
The Point Loma Garden Club, founded in 1961, follows the purpose of "the friendly study of horticulture".
The club holds monthly meetings and hosts local, national, and international speakers. The Club offers
educational and entertaining programs and workshops that relate to horticulture, floral design, and ecological
conservation.
Listed below are our main activities which support the specific purpose of our Club as stated in the Bylaws

Annual Bus Tour
Once a year, we charter a bus and take a day trip to some growers and
gardens in the region, including a nice lunch.

Plant Sales
|
A few times a year, the club raises funds by holding a plant sale.
Members donate their specialty cultivars or just extra plants to these
sales, which are a hit with the community. If you would like to be notified
